A Process Designed With Craft Brewers In Mind

The MAD House understands the budget limitations many craft beer brewers face. You are busy buying equipment and raw materials. You are growing into new space, hiring help and expanding your distribution footprint. Oh yeah, in your spare time you are conducting tours, attending festivals and hosting craft beer dinners. Let The MAD House help take the branding load off your shoulders. Our streamlined process delivers awesome results in a timely manner – without breaking the bank.

The Brief

mri-lie-detector-1

Everything starts with a brief. We like to ask lots of questions and get our heads completely wrapped around your project. To understand the project, we have to understand your business and its culture: more questions. If we can work it in, we like to spend some time at your facility. Getting to know you and the folks responsible for crafting your brews is important. We take all of the information gleaned and work it down to a one or two page brief. The brief will act as the road map for our Creative Freaks. It keeps them on task, and helps them deliver consistent brand looks.

Off to the Creative Cave

With Creative Briefs firmly in hand, our Creative Freaks adjourn to the Creative Cave and contemplate the questions of life. More importantly, they use the Brief to begin creating art for your project. We’ll deliver a rough, first round to help you choose a direction for look and feel. From there, it’s back to the cave for refinement. Another round of creative is presented for more comments. After this round, we should be well on the way to final looks. We’ll settle in on fonts and colors. Now comes the tweaking.

 Finished Product

The hard part is over. We provide you or your vendor with the appropriate electronically formatted files. We are available to consult with can manufacturers, tap handle companies, screen printers and other vendors. If you need help finding a vendor, or want us to manage the entire production process, just let us know. From offset press printing, label production, can manufacturing to ordering swag, The MAD House is here to take the load off. After all, don’t you have a new recipe to brew? Cheers!

A Few Of The Freaks

Larry McIntosh

Prior to his agency experiences, Larry worked his way through the ranks in the radio business, eventually helping start, as General Sales Manager, a new radio station at 107.7 FM in Austin, Texas. As the “Warden” of The MAD House, Larry builds and manages customized strategic planning, branding and creative teams to ensure client success. “When unrealistic deadlines were presented to Larry and his team his can-do attitude prevailed and we were able to streamline a 6 month, multi-product label design process into a little more than 2 months.”
